A small Humanoid Robot to help research
Fujitsu has presented a miniature humanoid robot, named HOAP-1. Weighing 6 Kg, the android is 48 cm tall and has 20 degrees of freedom.
Targeting research labs, Fujitsu intends to make the robot and its simulation software a useful tool for implementing motion control on two-legged walking machines.
The sales target is 100 robots within 3 years.
